InterMedia serves as a global clearinghouse for media, communications and attitudinal data and analysis, gathered from more than 600 media and opinion surveys dating back to 1992, an archive that is expanding from one month to the next. InterMedia’s data is the result of more than 1 million face-to-face
interviews; the surveys are 80 percent standardized across countries and
regions. Most
InterMedia surveys are conducted in the home of the respondent. Sample sizes
are relatively large: from 1,000 to 10,000; typically, a sample comprises
at least 2,000 respondents.
